As an artist, my creative process involves a layered approach to painting. I begin by establishing a foundation of patterns through both painting and drawing. This initial layer serves as a backdrop for my main subject, which I then highlight by applying a neutral colour around it to draw attention. To further enhance the focal point, I incorporate an additional layer of drawing. This technique allows for depth and complexity in my artwork, resulting in a rich visual experience.
I am a retired art teacher who is painting full-time now. I work in acrylics when I paint, but I like to do designs and art crafting as well.
