Erika van Zyl is a professional artist, working primarily in oils. She often employs bold colours in an impressionistic manner.
Erika paints on location as well as in studio. Using light in a painting to create atmosphere plays an integral role in her paintings. She hopes to convey the emotional connection that she had with each scene.
