Moving to the Klein Karoo in 1993 Lisl Barry was initially known for her Karoo landscape oil paintings . After focusing on various nature-oriented subject matter for the past 10 years, Lisl has been revisiting her first love and is thrilled to be exhibiting a new collection of Karoo landscape paintings as guest artist at Di van der Riet-Steyn’s studio. Her work is born out of decades of observing the breathtaking moods and nuances of the Karoo.
Lisl lives and has an art studio in Oudtshoorn. Her nature-orientated work is on exhibition at the Prince Albert Art Gallery on an on-going basis.
