Ben Reynecke

Although he initially intended to pursue graphic and art design, Ben went on to study music, completing a Bachelor of Music with a focus on piano and church organ. He did art for extra credit. This dual foundation in sound and visual culture continues to shape his work.

His career has moved fluidly between disciplines – from working as an official photographer for Wedding Essentials Bridal Magazine, where he also styled shoots, to managing the five-star L’Ermitage Hotel, overseeing weddings, events and visual environments.

Now teaching music full-time, Ben returns to painting whenever time allows – a practice rooted in intuition, rhythm and a lifelong engagement with form and composition.
